Preventive Healthcare Plan For Kittens:

Newborn :

  • Weight newborn on a gram scale daily. kitten should gain weight every day.
  • Monitor for external parasites.
  • Beginning at 2 to 3 weeks, administer pyrantel pamoate every 2 weeks at least 3 times as directed by veterinarian.
  • At 3 to 4 weeks, begin testing of warm kitten food as a gruel in saucer.
4 weeks of age:
  • Human handing 5 to 45 minutes per day.
  • Increase solid food to 4X/day.
